Elizabeth is tasked with keeping an imminent U.S.-France state dinner on track after a CIA operative is captured by French intelligence, putting the event in jeopardy as she tries to negotiate the operative's release. Meanwhile, Russell tries to woo back megadonors to Dalton's campaign; and there's a big break in the McCord stalking case.
