Lord Dignus, the Overlord of Fortuna, has sent forth the Imperial Legion to bring a quick end to the apathy of his people and eliminate the kingdom-wide weakness created by a mysterious mist known as the Miasma. Spero, a member of the Legion, has been given the task of hunting spirits down to further the alchemic studies of his friend and mentor, Viser in order to stop the puzzling fog.
