Niamh Lynn (1979) is a country artist from Cavan but originally 
from Dublin. Niamh has been performing live for several years and has 
built a steady fanbase. Her love for old fashioned country music stems 
from the greats like Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette and Billie Jo Spears. 

The modest mother-of-two from Dublin, Ireland attributes a lot of 

her success to The Dresses and The Shoes!!! Niamh has a natural draw 
to the Country Look and Sounds that came out of Nashville in the 1960 era. 
Her retro fashion (and vocal) style is similar to that from early days 
when female country singers left their permanent mark on the Country 
Music scene – ladies like Patsy Cline, Tammy Wynette, Loretta Lynn etc. 
and it is these powerful women that influence Niamh most!

Host Ryan Tubridy referred to her as The Imelda May of Country Music.
Niamh Lynn said she felt flattered.
