Windows 7/8.1/10 Spectre & Meltdown Patches

Dit is een post voor het oplossen van de nieuwste beveiligings problemen genaamd spectre en meltdown.

Om de patches voor deze beveiligings lekken via Windows Update aangeboden te krijgen dient deze register sleutel aanwezig te zijn:

(sla de txt tussen de --- en --- lijnen op als .reg bestand en dubbelklik om het register handmatig te updaten. Dit bestand zit ook in de rars!)

Een (onofficiele) lijst met Antivirus programma's die de benodigde register sleutel instellen (wordt regelmatig geupdate):

Voor wie Win 7 draait zal win 7 defender de regkey niet instellen, Microsoft Security Essentials wel, voor windows 8.1/10 zal defender de regkey wel instellen.
