Discografie - Eric Prydz/Pryda/Cirez D

Eric Prydz (Täby, 19 juli 1976) is een Zweeds diskjockey en producer. Hij is vooral bekend van zijn hit Call on Me uit 2004. Het idee voor dit nummer met sample van Steve Winwood kwam oorspronkelijk van Thomas Bangalter en DJ Falcon. Het kwam echter niet van een officiële release. Erik Prydz pikte het nummer op, waarbij Winwood de sample opnieuw inzong. Dat werd een hit. Er ontstond hier een nieuwe rel over wie de eerste was die het nummer maakte maar daarbij waarbij Bangalter aan het kortste eind trok[1].

Prydz is ook de man achter Cirez D, Sheridan en Pryda. Onder die laatste naam heeft hij een aantal hits gescoord, waaronder Pjanoo, dat tot een echte zomerhit van 2008 is uitgegroeid. De muziek van Prydz valt niet helemaal onder het genre house, maar neigt meer richting de progressive house.
