The Turncoat aka The Defecter 2020

Summer 1944. In the midst of a debacle, the last German forces are dispatched to maintain the Eastern Front at all costs. A young Wehrmacht soldier, Walter returns to combat to protect a strategic railway line. But when his convoy is attacked, he rallies a hard-hit unit to the front line. Faced with the insane directives from his own camp, Walter begins to doubt: should he blindly follow orders in a losing battle, or go to the other side of the front to save his skin?
