WWE NXT often referred to simply as NXT, is a brand of the U.S. based professional wrestling promotion WWE.

While its original purpose was to serve as a farm system for WWE's main roster, NXT has come to be viewed by wrestling pundits and fans as its own distinct entity, becoming a global brand in its own right, and considered by some to have become WWE's third major brand (alongside Raw and SmackDown)
