Martin Boer - Into The Groove (19)


Van juni 2002 t/m december 2004 produceerde Martin Boer voor Radio Veronica het programma ‘Into the groove’, een non-stop mixshow met de grootste dance classics uit de periode eind jaren 70 t/m begin jaren 90.

Ondanks de goede luistercijfers en de enthousiaste reakties van de vele luisteraars heeft Radio Veronica wegens wijzigingen in de weekend-programmering besloten om met ingang van 2005 te stoppen met Into the groove. In 2005 is nog wel wekelijks een korte ‘Martin Boer Megamix’ uitgezonden in het programma Disco Inferno van DJ Sven.

Tot op de dag van vandaag ontvangt Martin e-mails met het verzoek om de Into the groove mixen op CD uit te brengen. Helaas is dit vanwege diverse redenen niet mogelijk. Wel zijn vele radio-opnames van de mixen in omloop via internet onder mixfreaks en liefhebbers over de gehele wereld.
