Season 1, Episode 4: The Cevennes

Ray visits the Cevennes National Park in southern France, one of the country's most uninhabited regions. He meets Laurent, a farmer whose family have grown chestnut trees for generations, before setting up a campfire to cook some of the nuts to make soup. He then chats to a beekeeper who builds traditional hives from tree trunks, and then he heads off in search of wolves - an animal that was once common in this area - and learns how vultures have been successfully reintroduced to the region.
