De serie ging in première op 13 oktober 2017.

The fourth season of "Babylon Berlin" adapts the novel "Goldstein" by Volker Kutscher and begins on New Year's Eve 1930/31: While an SA squad led by Walther Stennes marches through the city and destroys the shops of Jewish businessmen, Charlotte Ritter is called to a crime scene: A young man has fallen to his death from the roof of a department store. The eccentric Alfred Nyssen gives a big New Year's Eve celebration together with Helga Rath, at which he makes a special announcement.
