Hailing from Kansas City, MO, The Republic Tigers spike their lushly orchestrated indie rock with organic and synthetic elements. Their sophomore record “Mind Over Matter” was conceived and concocted from 2008-2012, but then it was sadly shelved by the original labels. Don’t be fooled though “Mind Over Matter” has the same quality of the band's debut LP “Keep Color”  which was praised by the likes of Spin, Consequence of Sound, Paste, PopMatters and featured in TV shows like Grey’s Anatomy, Gossip Girl, Chuck and more. The album features The Republic Tigers signature soaring guitars mixed with lush electronics that propel the lyrics to getting stuck in your head for days on end.
