Italië, 1977. Drie jonge Italiaanse criminelen staan aan de wieg van een van de machtigste en hardste misdaadorganisaties ooit. Drugshandel, ontvoeringen, terrorisme... Il Libanese (de Libanees), Il Dandi (de dandy) en Il Freddo (de kouwe) schrikken nergens voor terug en hebben maar één doel: heel Rome in hun macht krijgen.

Italië was maandenlang in de ban van dit bloedspannende eerste seizoen van ROMANZO CRIMINALE. De televisieserie is, net als de gelijknamige filmhit uit 2005, gebaseerd op de roman van Giancarlo De Cataldo. Roman, film en tv-serie vertellen het waargebeurde verhaal van de beruchte Banda della Magliana die Rome onveilig maakte tussen 1977 en 1992.

Rome, in the 70s. The Lebanese, a young criminal, and his band of small strikes, composed of Dandy, and Buffalo Wire, do 400 rounds.
