Vale Tudo (English: anything goes) is a full-contact combat sport, with a very limited number of rules, that became popular in Brazil during the 20th century.
Vale Tudo uses techniques from a variety of different martial art styles and is considered a precursor to modern mixed martial arts.

Universal Vale Tudo Fighting (UVF) was a bare knuckle, no-holds-barred fighting promotion that operated between 1996 and 1997.
